A native Austinite, Hollie Gordon studied art at the University of Texas at Austin and was later mentored by renowned artist Amado Peña in Mexico City. After choosing to focus on raising a family, she is now rediscovering her lifelong passion for art in retirement.

Her work is inspired by the colors and landscapes of the Southwest, often depicting Texas native plants and florals, such as cactus, bluebonnets, sunflowers, and oak trees, along with local birds like herons, roadrunners, and grackles.

She works primarily in acrylics, creating pieces on canvas, wood, and fabric that highlight bold color, texture, and the natural beauty of the Texas landscape.

She is also happy to consider custom requests. Feel free to reach out if you have something in mind.
